Private Spa
The springs of Bagni di Lucca were visited by famous personalities throughout history. The earliest crowned visitor, around 1100, was the Countess Matilda of Tuscany.
The Stabilimento Termale Bagno alla Villa, now owned by the Burlamacchi family, has been active since its opening in the 15th century and has hosted many famous guests including Elisa Bonaparte, sister of Napoleon.
The thermal spring waters flow at 39.2°C and are beneficial for osteo-articular, muscle-tendon, and arthro-rheumatic conditions.
They offer anti-inflammatory, purifying, muscle-relaxing, and analgesic properties, helping to relieve discomfort and support overall physical well-being.
These waters are rich in essential minerals, including:
- Calcium which helps stabilize cells;
- Sulfate which promotes the renewal of tissues damaged by inflammation;
- Bicarbonate known for its analgesic and soothing effects;
- Magnesium which helps regulate blood sugar levels;
- Sodium which supports the balance and flow of fluids and nutrients within cells.
